CLASS UPDATE
* Today our class started the "RTI Reading Team Time" and it was a big success! Students love their teachers and it should be a big success in helping students reach their full potential in reading comprehension.
* In Math our class will be adding fractions and mixed numbers in HM. I will post a couple Educreations lesson links on the sidebar.
* In American History we are working on group projects on the Colonies.
* We are finishing our final drafts of our spooky stories this week.

Also, our class earned their first class party by filling in our Awesome Apple Chart. This means that on Friday, October 26th, our class voted on the movie: Sandlot. This movie is rated PG 13 for some minor language. I have shown it to 3 other classes. If you do not want your child to view this movie, please reply to this e-mail and I will give them an alternative activity.
The class voted on CRAZY ELECTRONICS DAY. This means they can dress up, (HALLOWEEN WARMUP), in anything they want and bring their favorite electronic device. We will still take our tests in the morning, but have fun afterwards.
I NEED A PARENT WHO CAN GO PICK UP A FEW PLATTERS OF SANDWICHES AT SUBWAY ON FRIDAY MORNING at about 11:30 a.m. I will pay for the sandwich tray from some of our class funds. Please let me know if you can do this.
Also, I usually have parents bring in some treats, plus fruit, drinks and veggies. Are there any volunteers? I know we have a plethora of food coming on Halloween already, but the class earned this party!

That's it for now!
Mr. Sweet
