WEEK OF OCTOBER 20-24th

CLASS UPDATE

Reading - Our class just began reading the book, Freak the Mighty. We are working on comprehension, figurative language and vocabulary.

Writing-This week we are finishing our narrative rough drafts, creating book covers, and editing/revising.

Math-We are finishing up Chapter 3 on Properties of Addition, Multiplication.

Science-This week we commence our Unit of Study on  Metabolism along with a few in class STEM projects.

Geography-Our class will be finishing our Asia maps by this Friday.

Projects- Our Book Project "Bloom Ball" is due Wednesday, October 29th. Students should be 3/4 of the way through the project. In addition, we are doing our class project on College Pennants where each student has chosen a college they would love to attend in the future.

FIELD TRIP THIS THURSDAY! Please make sure your child brings a lunch. We leave promptly at the bell at 7:50am so if your child is late, they will miss the field trip. If you are driving, please be here 10 min. early. Here are the drivers cleared by the district and substitutes (If you didn't drive you will have priority on our Rosicrucian Museum Trip in February:
