CLASS UPDATE

There is a lot happening this week! Wednesday, November 2nd, is our last day to take an Accelerated Reader Quiz for the 1st trimester. This Thursday we will be leaving at 7:50am to go to the Tech Museum.

Once again, here are the drivers:

  • Naomi Dresser

  • Julia Morales

  • Nick Calubaquib

  • Sandra Moran

  • Brenda Christensen

  • Liz Ricks

In writing we will be starting our new genre of Informational Writing this week.
In reading our 6th graders will be launching our new theme in My Perspectives about "Animal Allies."
In Math we will review Chapter 3 and take our test on Friday.
In Science we will start a new unit of study on Metabolism.

On Tuesday I am sending home a checklist and a parent input form that can help guide our discussion at Parent Teacher Conferences. On that note, I would love for each of my students to attend the parent/teacher conference, if possible.
