 CLASS UPDATE

We are so excited to go on our last field trip together as a 6th grade on Wednesday, May 22nd to TOP GOLF in San Jose. We definitely need drivers so join the crew if possible on, most likely, the last chance to drive your child on a field trip.

In ELA we continue to read Anne of Green Gables Chapters 22-30 this week along with comprehension and vocabulary activities.

In Writing we wrap up our Argumentative Final Drafts and we are beginning to create our slide shows to share our speech together.

In Math we commence learning bout Integers in Chapter 6.

Last week we finished our study of Sexual Health Education and the class asked many significant questions and our class discussions over heavy topics was very illuminating and a safe place to discuss 

In history we are loving the Ancient Greece unit. In the mornings we begin our day with a Greek Stoic quote and discussion. This week we will practice our Greek Myth plays, learn about the roots of democracy in Greece, and resume our Greek Games where it's a close battle. Furthermore, we begin the City State Group Projects, as well.
