WEEK OF NOVEMBER 28th-DECEMBER

Class Update-
I hope everybody had a memorable Thanksgiving together with family and loved ones!

Our class will begin our Poetry Unit by learning about the form of Haiku and Diamantes. In the coming weeks we will learn many other forms including: couplets, free verse, cinquains, acrostics.

In writing we will be finishing our "expert" informational assignment.
In Reading our RTI groups will begin reading stories from the unit of study on the Revolution. The reading skill focus is cause and effect.

In the coming three weeks we will be learning about the winter holidays of Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Saturnalia, Christmas. We will have a Holiday Quiz just before the break.
