CLASS UPDATE
Here are the parents that have volunteered to drive on our field trip on Friday, November 7th, when we go to NASA in Mountain View:
Shannon (5 students with seatbelts)
Brian (5)
Lisa (3)
Will (3)
Rose (4)
Sue (4)
Alan (3)
Janel (4)
SUB- Debra (4)-Can chauffeur
I need at least two more drivers. Make sure your driver's license is not expired. If you were born in another country, you can't go on the trip! Strict security policy.

A big thanks goes out to the Allshouse and Brenner families who brought Root beer and muffins for the class party today!

This week our class is finishing up Sign of the Beaver and our reading skill focus is making inferences. Our spelling vocabulary is straight out of the book and the words, as always, are posted at the link above.

In writing we have begun our "Spooky Stories". Our stories will need to have a catchy hook intro, dialogue and similes. We will be using the Chrome Books in class to type the stories.

News Team speeches begin Tuesday.

Today we do not have math homework because of the party!

Our CEREAL BOX projects are due next Monday, so there won't be as much homework this week to focus on the book project.
