Week of May 12-16th

  • Room 12 is testing on Monday-Thursday this week using the computers. As a reminder, this is a field test so we won't get any results in the fall for this assessment.
  • Our class is working on our 13 Colony play so please put together a costume for each role in the play that you are playing.
  • The Greek Olympics kicked off today! Ask your child about the Opening Ceremonies and events that took place.
  • Science Projects are due this Thursday for 5th graders. Make sure to use the template I sent home to help guide your poster board layout.
  • In Geography our class is learning the States and Capitals. We will take a test this week and students will need to know the state AND the capital. Our states and capitals test is this Friday so remember to learn the capital song at:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSvJ9SN8THE
  • In History the 6th graders will begin learning about Rome
  • 5th Grade will be starting the weather unit in Science
  • The A.R. Deadline is fast approaching...Friday, May 30th
