WEEK OF MARCH 25-29th

Room 12 Update
* We are reading  Chapters 25-35 in Crispin this week. The reading skills and strategies that we are focusing on this week are: Main Idea and Supporting Details and Monitoring.
* In writing we will write a fun essay about our PERFECT DAY!
* Last week I gave out the A.R. goals for the final trimester and they are also posted online.
* The main thrust of homework this week will be The Heritage Project and Science Projects. I am helping each child refine their Investigative Questions, which will drive the rest of the project. We will fill out a form this week with our: Hypothesis, Methods, Materials and go over a timeline of due dates.
* To help guide the Heritage Project, I will go over each required section.
* I am sending home the CD with all of the songs for our Constitution Play that each student will need to learn.
* Thursday is the Big Spin when we give out awards for Principal's List, Honor Roll, Honorary Achievement, Sportsmanship, Accelerated Reading and Citizenship.
* On Friday there will be the Talent Show and parents are invited at 1pm.
* In Math we are working with % and reviewing surface area.
