Dear Parents and Students of Room 12,
We are back for the home stretch and it is my hope that our class finishes out this last month in top form. This week we will be finishing CST testing. Tuesday and Wednesday will be devoted to Language Arts while Thursday and Friday will focus on Science.
The only homework students have is to finish up their Science Projects and prepare their speech, which are due this Wednesday. Today we assigned days that each student will be giving their project speech so make sure they practice well...do not talk to the poster board! In writing students will be focusing on a fun project that makes their writing come alive with STYLE. You'll see the finished product next Thursday, May 12th, at Open House 6:30pm-8pm
This week our class is also learning the songs that go along with the play and practicing our lines for the play.
In reading we started a new book called, My Side of the Mountain
Finally, please make sure your child shows up well-rested, with a good breakfast each day this week!
