CLASS UPDATE

Dear Parents and Students,

Halloween was a blast on Friday and we were so fortunate to have Nicole Myhrstad and the parent crew help our 6th graders celebrate. This coming Friday marks the last day of the 1st trimester and students can make up any unfinished work and correct and return half-backs in blue ink. I look forward to meeting with you at the conferences on November 15-18th. Please sign up for a time if you haven't done so here:

This week we will continue our unit on Animal Allies in English Language Arts. In addition, we are finishing up our Bloom Ball Book Project, which is due Friday, November 5th.

In writing we will begin our new genre of informational writing and gather ideas. On Friday, November 5th, we will be going to Mr. Kyle's to read their narratives for Celebration Day.

In Math we will start the next Unit of Study on Ratios and Rates in Chapter 5

In Science we will continue with learning about Metabolism and diagnosing Elisa's condition while learning specifically about cells and Diabetes and Asthma. 

Friday will be the last day of the 1st trimester and the grade book closes.
