CLASS UPDATE
- Reading-5th Grade is reading Elena from HM with the Reading Skill focus of Story Structure.
- Thursday, March 6th is the last day to take an A.R. test for 2nd trimester.
- In 5th Grade Math we continue to work on Geometry and now Area of Parallelograms/Triangles
- 6th Grade Math-Statistics/Data Analysis. Course 2-Slope of Lines
- Writing-We will type our final drafts of Persuasive Essays on Google Docs. We will also begin writing Limericks too.
- History-We conclude Revolutionary War/Hebrew Units Monday. We have a test on Friday (the first day of the 3rd trimester) Students are watching John Adams and Prince of Egypt
- Field Trip: Friday, March 21st to AJHS Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Please sign the permission slip and send $2 for the entrance fee. We need drivers!
- In Science we start the Water Unit in 5th Grade and in 6th we will be learning about Earth's Resources.
- Projects-5th Grade-Newspaper Book Project-See assignment link on right, plus the picture of the student example
- 6th Grade-Environmental Issue-Report, Powerpoint and Speech. Choose a topic by Wednesday, March 5th. *See list that will be sent home Monday.
