Week of August 16-20th
Welcome to our first full week of school! We will continue to learn more about each other along with class procedures. Room 20 jumped into our new math unit about Numerical Expressions and Factors. Our 6th graders are beginning to gather ideas for our Narrative Writing. In Social Studies we started creating our Africa Map. Our first unit of study in ELA will be Childhood Stories which deal with our theme of: What are the challenges and triumphs of childhood?
Homework Monday
- Students will begin filling out a job application for class job opportunities.
- Finish 6th Grade Packet
- Emergency Form filled out and returned
- Parents will fill out iGradebook link here: iGradebook Email Sign-up
- Bring Chromebook to school
- Check to see if your parents received the class e-mail
Homework Tuesday
- Finish Green Math Wkbk p. 3-6
- Parent sign in to igrade/students write down email/password on sticky note
- Parent Forms Signed and returned
