Week of August 22-26th

Dear Parents and Students from Room 12,

This week we kick off the learning with some exciting new Units of Study... In Reading we will be going over stories together about extreme weather and natural disasters in our orange HM Reading Books. In Math we will be looking into Prime Numbers in HM and Factorization. Room 12 students will begin the week by learning about how to write a creative and organized 5-paragraph essay. In this case, we will be writing about our exciting summers. Finally, our 5th Graders will begin learning about the Periodic Table of Elements and Chemical Properties through experiments and discussion in class.

We have a very focused and respectful class this year and I am confident that it is going to be an amazing year, which is FULL of learning and growth. Check back on this blog daily for updates and homework.

Off we go!
