Room 12,
Enjoy the long 10-day break...we sure earned AND needed it!
Remember to finish up your Science Projects because they are due on Wednesday, May 4th. It was my hope that students would use this week with little homework to work on it, but I think many blew it off.
Each student needs to memorize their play lines and practice the songs from the American Revolution CD.
**ON SATURDAY, APRIL 30th will be the County Book Fair at Capitola Mall. Our class put together a fantastic book about our Persuasive Essays. Check it out!
See you on Monday, May 2nd,
Mr. Sweet

CLASS UPDATE
This week Room 12 is learning about states and capitals. I sent home a packet with the first 25 states and capitals that we are learning this week. They will be tested on Friday with a map that will also be their spelling test.
* Tomorrow I will be checking each student's progress on their Science Project.
* This Friday we will have auditions for the play, so practice your lines, expression and Drama skills. This class should be pros because they love to talk!
* In math we are reviewing all of the CST Standards for the year with the Smart Responders to go over the areas where we struggle. Thus far, percents, decimals and adding/subtracting fractions with different denominators has been a struggle.
